The newly renovated residence is an international blend of east and west, enhanced by the client’s collection of oriental artifacts and art works of post war modernism. The two condominiums' that are to be conjoined overlook the Atlantic Ocean and the spaces are bathed in morning light. The design theme unifies the traditional elements of Moroccan décor with a contemporary interpretation that includes Syrian inlaid furniture and colorful kilim carpets offset by horizontal rectilinear niches displaying post war works of art. A vaulted ceiling in the foyer and living room establish an element of understated sophistication. Sinuous arches and smooth wall texture reminiscent of white washed adobe on the Mediterranean Sea create an environment that is at once contemporary and timeless with a hint of minimalism.
