Launched in 1992, Linda Johnston honed her design and woodworking skills by the construction of a classic Lyle Hess Falmouth Cutter that is built entirely of wood with the modern techniques of cold-molding and laminating. The skills accrued throughout the project have given her the distinct advantage of a large body of knowledge that includes drafting, lofting, fine woodworking, metal fabrication, mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation and finishing.
